BUSINESS VISIT (F VISA)

Unless the applicant specifies his/her request on the application form and consular officers approve, the validity of the visa is generally 3 months from the date of issue, with the duration of stay being up to 30 days.

Please prepare and submit the following items:

  1. Passport - Your current signed passport, which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months with at least two blank visa pages.

  2. Passport-Style Photographs - One color passport size photograph 2”x2” on a white background with a full front view of face. Snapshots, machine, home or computer photographs are not acceptable.

  3. Invitation – From a Chinese company or other organization.

  4. Multiple-entry visas - For requirements to apply for multiple-entry visas, please see Multiple Entry section.

  5. Complete Visa Application - Download the Application Form, complete and sign it.

  6. Business Letter - A Business letter from the US company sponsoring your visit to china.

  7. Payment: You may pay all the fees with one Cashier's check/ money order payable to “GLOBAL VIP SERVICES”. The total payment will cover: Consulate Fee(s), Our Service Fee and Return Mail Fee.

NOTE1: Former Chinese citizens who have obtained foreign citizenship should:

  • Present their original Chinese passport when applying for a Chinese visa for the first time. In this case, a child should also provide the original and photocopy of passports of both parents.
  • Fill in their Chinese name in Chinese characters on the visa application.

NOTE2: As of July 1, 2003, ordinary passport holders from Singapore and Brunei enjoy visa-free access to China for up to 15 days for the purposes of business, tourism, visit to relatives and friends, or transit, and may enter and exit from the Chinese ports that are open to foreigners.

Multiple-Entry BUSINESS F Visas: You can apply for a multiple visa if you can:

  1. Submit the visa issuance notice letter/form from the Chinese governmental organization authorized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry (with the validity, number of entries, and duration of stay specified on the letter/form), or

  2. Have investment in China, and presents the original and one photocopy of the business license registered under your name (the original will be checked and returned to the applicant), or

  3. Your are the management staff of an US company with a branch in China, and can present an application letter from the US company and an invitation from the branch in China, or

  4. You have traveled to China for two or more times in the past year with F visa(s), and presents a photocopy of the F visa(s) and an invitation from a Chinese company, or

  5. You need to travel frequently to China to carry out a contract, and presents an application letter from his/her company in US, and the original and one photocopy of the contract with a Chinese company (the original will be checked and returned to the applicant).

TWO-YEAR MULTIPLE-ENTRY BUSINESS VISIT (F VISA)

  • This visa is issued to US citizens, who need to visit China frequently on business. The visa is valid for 2 years from the issuing date and for multiple entries into China's mainland, and period of each stay being up to 90 days.

  • Unless the applicant specifies his/her request on the application form and consular officers approve, the validity of the visa is generally 3 months from the date of issue, with the duration of stay being up to 30 days.

Please prepare and submit the following items:

  1. Passport - Your current signed passport, which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months with at least two blank visa pages.

  2. Passport-Style Photographs - One color passport size photograph 2”x2” on a white background with a full front view of face. Snapshots, machine, home or computer photographs are not acceptable.

  3. Complete Visa Application - Download the Application Form, complete the application carefully, clearly - mark "2-year multiple" in the item "Intended number of entries" - and sign it

  4. Passport Coy - one photocopy of the personal information page of the passport.

  5. Copy of Previous Visa - Photocopy of the previous Chinese F visas, or Original and one photocopy of Certificate of Investment, Business License, or Business Contract, if the applicant has investment, branch office, or business contract to carry out in China.

  6. Payment: You may pay all the fees with one company check/ money order payable to “GLOBAL VIP SERVICES”. The total payment will cover: Consulate Fee(s), Our Service Fee and Return Mail Fee.
