- Unless the applicant specifies his/her request on the application form and consular officers approve, the validity of the visa is generally 3
months from the date of issue, with the duration of stay being up to 30 days
Please prepare and submit the following items:
- Passport - Your current signed passport, which must be valid for a minimum of 6 months with at least two blank visa pages.
- Passport-Style Photographs - One color passport size photograph 2”x2” on a white background with a full front view of face. Snapshots, machine, home or computer photographs are not acceptable.
- Complete Visa Application - Download the Application Form, complete and sign it.
- Visa Notice Letter - Visa issuance notice letter/form from the Chinese governmental organization authorized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry
- Employment License - The original and one photocopy of Employment License for Aliens issued by the Chinese Ministry of Labor and Social Security, or Foreign Expert's Identity Certificate issued by the Chinese State Bureau of Foreign Experts (the original will be checked and returned to the applicant).
- A Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizens. This form is only needed if you are planning on staying in China to study for more than 1 year, and should be completed by your physician.
- Payment: You
may pay all the fees with one money
