Single-entry and double-entry business visas can be issued for no longer than 90 days, multiple re-entry business visa can be issued for 1 year. Double-entry Visa is issued for two entries if indicated in invitation. All arrival and departure dates must be indicated.
Please prepare and submit the following items:
- Official invitation Letter – Invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Russia, its local offices or the Russian Foreign Ministry, its regional offices, or any other authorized Russian agency. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, document registration number, date of registration, signature and name of an authorized official, travel itinerary, dates of stay, names of persons invited. Copies of multiple business invitations are not accepted - please submit original of multiple invitation.
- Passport (original) - Your current signed Passport which must be valid for a minimum of six months with at least two blank visa pages.
- Passport Vital Page – Copy of your passport's vital page(s).
- Passport-Style Photographs - One color passport size photograph 2”x2” on a white background with a full front view of face. Snapshots, machine, home or computer photographs are not acceptable.
- Complete Visa Application - Download the Application Form Application form for US Citizensor for Non-US Citizens, complete the application carefully, clearly and sign it
- HIV (AIDS) Test Certificate – Provide the official hospital HIV (AIDS) Test Certificate, if you wish to apply for a visa valid for more than 3 months.
- Cover letter – You (if you are traveling individually) or your company must include a letter giving your details, destination, terms and purpose of the trip, cities to be visited in Russia and contact’s telephone or facsimile number – sample cover letter.
- Travel Document – One copy of your round trip airline tickets/ itinerary.
- Non-US Citizens Provide Proof of LPR- Applicants who hold other than US passports should submit proof of long- term (at least three years)/ permanent residence (copy of green card) in the United States.
- Payment: You
may pay all the fees with one Cashier's check/

NOTES:
- Russian law states that all visitors' passports and visas have to be registered within 72 hours (3 working days) of arriving in Russia. Also you have to complete an immigration document prior to passing through passport control
- No medical insurance - is officially required for the US citizens, unless they stay in Russia for 6 months or more. Prior to your visit, consult your medical insurance issuer for details. Mandatory medical insurance on the basis of reciprocity is required for the citizens of Estonia, Israel and Finland, as well as for the citizens of Schengen Agreement Member-States (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and other Schengen states).
