Tourist visa can be single-entry or double-entry and can be issued for no longer than 30 days. Double-entry Visa is issued for two entries if indicated in invitation. All arrival and departure dates must be indicated.
Please prepare and submit the following items:
- Standard "Confirmation" and "Tourist Voucher" from Russian travel agency, Russian hotel Receiving organization should be duly registered as a tourist company with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and assigned a special reference number. This reference number should be indicated on the Confirmation Letter.
Cruise-ship passengers are required to present a letter from the Cruise Company and a Cruise Confirmation Letter from the cruise company’s partner agency in Russia (ask your cruise operator for a copy of that letter prior to applying for a visa).
- Passport (original) - Your current signed Passport which must be valid for a minimum of six months with at least two blank visa pages.
- Passport Vital Page – Copy of your passport's vital page(s).
- Passport-Style Photographs - One color passport size photograph 2”x2” on a white background with a full front view of face. Snapshots, machine, home or computer photographs are not acceptable.
- Complete Visa Application - Download the Application Form Application form for US Citizensor for Non-US Citizens, complete the application carefully, clearly and sign it
- HIV (AIDS) Test Certificate – Provide the official hospital HIV (AIDS) Test Certificate, if you wish to apply for a visa valid for more than 3 months.
- Cover letter – Include a cover letter providing purpose of visit, dates of arrival and departure, cities to be visited in Russia and telephone or facsimile number where you can be contacted.
- Travel Document – One copy of your round trip airline tickets/ itinerary.
- Non-US Citizens Provide Proof of LPR- Applicants who hold other than US passports should submit proof of long- term (at least three years)/ permanent residence (copy of green card) in the United States.
- Payment: You
may pay all the fees with one Cashier's check/
money order payable to “GLOBAL VIP SERVICES”.

NOTES:
- Russian law states that all visitors' passports and visas have to be registered within 72 hours (3 working days) of arriving in Russia. Also you have to complete an immigration document prior to passing through passport control.
- No medical insurance - is officially required for the US citizens, unless they stay in Russia for 6 months or more. Prior to your visit, consult your medical insurance issuer for details. Mandatory medical insurance on the basis of reciprocity is required for the citizens of Estonia, Israel and Finland, as well as for the citizens of Schengen Agreement Member-States (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and other Schengen states).
