You can renew by mail if your most recent passport is undamaged, was issued within the last 15 years, was issued when you were 16 or older, and is in your current name (or you can document a name change). We confirm your eligibility before anything is sent.

  4. 4

    Your most recent passport

Submit your most recent U.S. passport book and/or card. It is returned to you separately from your new passport.

  5. 5

    Proof of identity

A clear copy, front and back, of your valid driver's license or state-issued ID.

  6. 6

    Name change documents

If your name has changed, include a certified marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court order. Originals or certified copies only, no photocopies.

  7. 7

    Photograph

One color passport-style photo, 2 by 2 inches, on a white background. We take a compliant photo in our office.
